Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is as Bo from the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk both were professors. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. Silk is the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching and attending play rehearsals. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for kids. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts at St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999 in order to pursue her acting. Then she moved into Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she began to meet him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop located in Los Angeles. The couple got engaged in 2009, and were married with a civil ceremony December of the same year. In April of 2011, they renew their vows during the Jewish celebration in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's son was born in May of 2013, and her son was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's television work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. She landed a principal role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus and a succubus on the television show Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show the good news that she had become pregnant during the filming of season 3 in an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was presented by Showcase during a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the series' premiere. Silk is doing work on the show since the season's third finale episode was conceived on January 6 2013. She announced via Twitter her intention to return June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her performance as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples. E! named them the Top Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk has a huge social media following, including Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its success.
