Washington Butler was a native Puyallup Washington was always interested in arts and crafts. She was a singer in choirs, entered singing competitions and performed in schools and in community theatre. Then she moved to Los Angeles and studied theatre at the University of Southern California. for a year and a half, she portrayed Belle the Princess in Beauty and the Beast. Her primary goal was to get a good agent for talent. She then auditioned for roles on TV and film. Butler played a part in the TV series CSI: Miami. The year before, she was an actor in the Don Stark web series Luke 11-17. In addition, she played a frequent character on the series I Love Vampires.Butler was cast as the lead character in the 2010 rape and crime thriller I Spit on Your Grave a remake of the 1978 famous film of the same title.
